Our warranty information varies by product type. You can easily find the complete details by viewing the individual product’s detail page and clicking on warranty.

Do you offer products that are lead free?

We are proud to offer an extensive line of lead-free* Luxart products that meets both federal and state requirements. Available on your wholesaler’s shelves today, simply look for the lead-free* symbol to find product designated lead-free*. This lead-free logo is also listed on our packaging, specification sheets and in our product catalog to make it easy for you to find qualifying lead-free* products.

*Lead Free: The wetted surface of our Lead Free products that is contacted by potable water contains less than 0.25% of lead by weight.

Why do you offer lead free products?

Recently several states have enacted laws with requirements for reducing lead in plumbing products. As well, the federal Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act becomes effective January 4, 2014. The new federal law redefines “lead-free” under the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act and implements the strict regulations of California and Vermont.

These laws specifically apply to pipes, pipe or plumbing fittings, fixtures, solder and flux that are used in the installation or repair of a plumbing water system intended to convey or dispense water for human consumption (potable water). By setting lead limits on fixtures with a wetted surface area containing no more than a weighted average of .25% lead, the laws virtually eliminate the lead content to convey or dispense water for drinking. Products designed exclusively for purposes other than dispensing water for human consumption are exempt from this requirement.

Luxart products already comply with the 2014. Just look for the lead-free* symbol on our packaging, specification sheets and in our product catalog to make it easy for you to find qualifying lead-free*products.

Do Luxart faucets come with metal pop-up drains?

Yes, all Luxart faucets come with long lasting heavy gauge brass pop-up drains.

Stainless Steel Sinks

What does the word "gauge" mean, when referring to stainless steel sinks?

Gauge is the thickness of the stainless steel. The lower the number, the thicker the stainless steel. For example, 16 gauge is thicker than 18 gauge.

What gauge stainless steel does Luxart use?

Luxart undermount sinks are all 16 gauge type 304 stainless steel.

Is the thickness of the steel really that important?

Yes, the thicker the steel, the more resistant it is to denting, bending and noise transmission from heavy pots and pans.

Are there different types of stainless steel?

Yes. Luxart sinks are made from high quality type 304 stainless steel with 18% chromium and 8% nickel content. Some of our competitors use a type 301 steel which is easier to form into a sink, but because of a lower chromium and nickel content will lose its luster over time.

Toilet Seats

How many types of Toilet Seats do you offer?

Luxart toilet seats come in several different types: Residential plastic & molded wood, elongated & round, closed front, with cover, WhisperClose with EasyClean & Change hinges, in White and Biscuit. Please see our product pages more detailed information.

Can you explain the benefit of the WhisperClose with EasyClean & Change hinges?

The WhisperClose feature allows you to slowly and quietly close the toilet seat ring and cover with a tap, eliminating slamming and pinched fingers. The EasyClean & Change hinges twist off so you can remove the seat for easy cleaning and replacement.

What is the difference between round and elongated?

Round bowl toilets are approx 16-1/2″ from the center of the bolt holes to the front on the bowl. Elongated are 18-1/2″ but these dimension can vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. Our toilet seats follow these dimensions to fit these toilet types snugly.

How do I care for my new Toilet Seat?

It is recommended that you use antibacterial soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals, aerosol sprays, abrasives or bleach, which can damage the finish.

Where are the Luxart toilet seats made?

Luxart toilet seats are made in the USA in Sheboygan Falls, WI by the world’s largest manufacturer of toilet seats.
